Because of you, Northeast Animal Shelter, one of New England’s largest shelters, is able to save thousands of pets each year by bringing them to our adoption center, caring for them, and placing them in loving homes. Northeast Animal Shelter (NEAS) has joined with the MSPCA-Angell to help even more animals and members of our community through our robust shared initiatives. NEAS now operates as a program of Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals — Angell Animal Medical Center (MSPCA-Angell), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Both NEAS and the MSPCA-Angell rely on the support of generous individuals and do not receive funding from state or federal agencies.

Our shared mission with the MSPCA-Angell is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.
